What GEODESIAS Is
GEODESIAS is an international platform for geospatial services and specialized technical production. Its services cover mapping and geospatial documentation, geographic data preparation, spatial analysis, satellite imagery, digital modeling, interactive map viewers, and cartographic process automation.
A project begins with the result that is needed. We assess the available data and select methods, applications, and exchange formats in relation to that result—not the other way around.
Our Services
Mapping and technical documentation. Location plans, thematic maps, atlases, map series, and illustrated reports that present places, geographic indicators, and territorial characteristics using defined spatial references and presentation requirements.
Geospatial data and spatial analysis. File conversion and correction, georeferencing, geometry processing, database organization, statistics by geographic area, and analysis of spatial distributions, proximity, and networks. Deliverables may include structured datasets, maps, tables, and analytical reports.
Imagery, terrain, and digital models. Satellite imagery and change detection; photogrammetry, LiDAR, point clouds, and 3D models. Terrain and preliminary surface drainage analysis are distinguished from exploratory hydraulic simulation, which has separate inputs, methods, and validation requirements.
Digital access and automation. Interactive maps, web viewers, data integration, repeatable cartographic workflows, and GIS–CAD–BIM data exchange, within the scope agreed for each service.
What Clients Receive
Each service is described in terms of its purpose, source materials, and expected deliverables. Depending on the request, deliverables may include PDF plans, geographic datasets, map layers, indicator tables, digital models, 3D representations, technical reports, or online map viewers. The individual proposal specifies file formats, intended use, scope, and conditions.
Technical quality is not determined by appearance alone. Depending on the service, source-data quality, units, coordinate reference systems, processing parameters, file structure, and appropriate review criteria must all be considered. A location plan, a point cloud, and a preliminary simulation call for different checks.
Examples of Documented Services
Site Location Plan. Preparation of a plan showing a site or asset in its cartographic context. The listed deliverables include a PDF/PNG plan with scale, legend, and source references, together with a project file. Assessment of a specific request depends on the location, available data, and intended use.
LiDAR-Derived Terrain and Surfaces. Processing of supplied LiDAR data for point classification, terrain models, and density indicators. Depending on the source data and defined processing scope, deliverables may include LAS/LAZ, GeoTIFF, and CSV files.
These examples describe listed services. They are not claims of completed client projects, certified outcomes, or previous contracts.
How Projects Are Defined and Reviewed
We begin by clarifying the objective, the available materials, and the intended use of the result. This enables us to assess data suitability, dependencies, and the requirements of a project-specific proposal.
That proposal defines the scope and deliverables. During production, procedures and checks are selected for the agreed inputs and outputs. Depending on the service, these may address geometry integrity, coordinate consistency, source traceability, model consistency, or the functionality of a digital tool. Material limitations are documented where relevant.
Project-Specific Services
In addition to the listed services, GEODESIAS accepts requests for assessment involving particular technical requirements or combinations of capabilities. Clients can describe a project without having to select an item from the catalog. Each request is reviewed individually before feasibility, scope, and conditions are confirmed.
How to Request Information
On the homepage, Specializations presents the areas of service. Select a specialization to review its subcategories and services within the page. Search provides an additional route to a specific service. Project-Specific Services is available for requirements not included in the catalog.
